Juntos Consulting was founded by Dr. Beth Mossman-Marroquín, an expert in Bilingual Education, Dual Language Immersion, and Multilingual/English Learner instruction. Over the course of her career, Dr. Mossman-Marroquín has served as a Bilingual/EL Teacher, Reading Specialist, Administrator, Instructional Coach, Consultant, and University Professor.
As a school leader, she was the founding principal of two successful TK–5 Dual Language programs in Los Angeles and helped both expand to middle and high school. Under her leadership, her most recent school was recognized as one of NCUST America’s Top 10 Schools (2025), a California Distinguished School, and a U.S. News & World Report Top Elementary School.
Dr. Mossman-Marroquín is a sought-after presenter and has shared her expertise at conferences including the California MTSS Conference, TWBI/ATDLE, CABE, NABE, La Cosecha, and the CSUDH Bilingual Conference. She has authored multiple articles and mentor modules on dual language education and was recently invited to co-author a chapter in the updated Dual Language Handbook.
Her work is grounded in a deep commitment to educational equity, dismantling deficit-based ideologies, and empowering educators at every level—from district leaders to classroom teachers—to elevate multilingualism and ensure access for all learners.
A love of language
Born out of a desire to be bilingual and biliterate, Dr. Mossman-Marroquín started her 2nd language journey in middle school and has never looked back. She believes education is a basic right of everyone and learning a 2nd language should be a priority for all.
